Top-tier Samsung smartphones often include an Armor Aluminum chassis, which is more durable than regular aluminum and gives the phone a more luxurious feel.
There are rumors that the Korean juggernaut may step up its game with the next Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra by including a titanium frame. Titanium is anticipated to offer improved resistance to daily wear and tear, such as dings and scratches, as it has a density and strength roughly four times that of aluminum.
There are claims that the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a titanium frame to boost the ante for the Korean powerhouse. Given that titanium is almost four times as dense and strong as aluminum, it should provide better resistance to daily wear and tear, such as dings and scratches.
Ice Universe, a well-known Samsung insider, claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will weigh 233g, which is actually 1g lighter than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The iPhone 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, weighs 240g and features a stainless steel body.
Even though there is only a six-gram weight difference when compared to the S23 Ultra, it makes one-handed usage more difficult. Interestingly, there are rumors that Apple may use titanium chassis in its next iPhone 15 Pro series this year, possibly making the smartphones lighter than those from 2023.
We will also receive a larger 50MP telephoto camera with a 3x zoom in addition to a titanium chassis. The 50MP sensor is anticipated to improve image quality at zoom levels ranging from 4x to 9.9x in addition to its capacity to shoot higher-quality photographs at a 3x zoom.
Other alleged improvements to the Galaxy S24 series include the likely reintroduction of Exynos CPUs in some areas, the inclusion of a new generation of AMOLED displays, and the introduction of faster charging times.
