Sasuke Retsuden chapter 1: An overview
Naruto began the first chapter of Sasuke Retsuden by clutching his chest in an effort to prevent Sasuke from travelling to a location named Redaku. However, Sasuke leaves without saying anything, leaving a gasping Naruto on the sidewalk.
After arriving at Redaku, Sasuke is later seen asking about for the Sage of Six Paths.
Currently, Redaku is a place that has been cut off from the outside world for many years. One of the locals wonders if such a nation can even be accessed in the first place as Sasuke asks around.
As a woman listens in on their talk, she starts to follow Sasuke. She has knowledge about the Sage of Six Paths, Sasuke learns when he confronts her. She admits that her mother, who ran an antique store, had told her about the name.
She calls herself Lyla and introduces herself. Suddenly, some robbers flee past Lyla and Sasuke, and Lyla’s mother chases them down since they stole something from her shop. Sasuke lends a helping hand and deals with the problem swiftly, capturing the perpetrators.
Layla’s mother introduces herself as Kail and expresses gratitude to the Uchiha for his assistance after local authorities apprehend the criminals. Kail recognises Sasuke as a shinobi and consents to respond to his inquiries.
The first chapter of Sasuke Retsuden then depicts Sasuke learning about The Book of Yoru, which is purported to contain Redaku’s history. The Sage also spent some time at the Tatar Observatory, according to Kail. Sasuke makes the decision to enter Tatar as a prisoner as a result.
Sasuke is seen standing over a pile of hurt prisoners as the dust settles. Director Zansul intervenes to save him just before he is going to be imprisoned for his actions and advises him to stay out of similar circumstances in the future.
In an effort to enlist Sasuke’s assistance in escaping, one of the thieves recognises him as a shinobi and approaches him. Sasuke declines, saying he broke inside the jail to look for a treatment for Naruto. The final scene of Sasuke Retsuden depicts a beast known as Meno feasting on the thief’s corpse.
