On Thursday, November 9, at the Adelaide Oval in Australia, England easily defeated India in the second semi-final by 10 wickets to advance to the T20 World Cup 2022 final.

The Men in Green will play Jos Buttler’s England in the main event’s finale on Sunday, November 13, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground after the Men in Green overcame New Zealand in the first semi-final at SCG.

India lost KL Rahul in the second over of their innings while batting first at the Adelaide Oval with only 9 runs scored, but a 47-run partnership between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma helped them get back into the game.

The Men in Blue were able to set a target of 168 after the first innings thanks to Hardik Pandya’s outstanding 63 runs off 33 balls, which featured four boundaries and five maximums.

In response, England’s powerful opening batsmen, Jos Buttler and Alex Hales, got off to a strong start and produced brilliant half-centuries to help the team chase down the mark with 10 wickets remaining in just 16 overs.

Alex Hales, who won player of the match for his outstanding performance, scored 86 runs off 47 balls while the England captain scored 80 runs off 49 balls.
