But the LG Smart TV is powered by WebOS and previous versions of Netcast. You can activate the LG Smart TV’s Demo Mode if you run a retail TV store. Enabling the Demo Mode plays a video that highlights the characteristics of your TV. Additionally, if you’d like, you may always turn off the Demo Mode on your TV. Also keep in mind that you cannot access the features, reset the TV, or do other things before turning on Demo Mode.

How to Turn On Demo Mode on LG Smart TV

On WebOS 6.0 Smart TV Models

  1. On the LG Smart TV, turn it on. On the TV remote, select Home, then wait for the home screen to appear.
  2. Select Settings in the top right corner of the Home screen.
  3. Choose General from the list of choices under All Settings.
  4. Go to General and choose Home/Store Mode.
  5. Select Store Mode to finish.

Via Netcast Smart TV Models

  1. Press Settings or Menu on the remote control after turning on the TV to access the home screen.
  2. Select Option (on the left) from the list using the D-Keys on the remote.
  3. Press Enter after selecting Mode Setting.
  4. Additionally, on the Mode Setting page, choose Store Demo.
  5. Finally, click Close to put your Smart TV in Demo Mode.

How to Turn Off Demo Mode on LG Smart TV

  1. To access the Home screen, press the Home button on your remote.
  2. Select Settings in the top right corner.

  4. Select General from the left side panel.
  5. Select the Home/Store Mode drop-down under About This TV.
  6. Now choose Home Mode to turn off the LG Smart TV’s Demo Mode.

  1. Hit the Settings or Menu buttons on your TV remote.
  2. Using the arrow buttons on the navigation bar, select Options from the left side panel.
  3. the Mode Setting option.
  4. To disable Demo Mode, choose Home Mode on the following page.
  5. Lastly, click Close.
