Bron Breakker vs Apollo Crews Announced for WWE NXT Deadline 2022

The NXT Deadline 2022 event will see Bron Breakker defending the NXT Championship against Apollo Crews, according to WWE.

Last week, Apollo Crews defeated JD McDonagh in a singles contest that was regarded as the official #1 contender battle for the NXT Title. Crews received a video package this week on NXT in which he revealed how the NXT championship has been his goal ever since he rejoined the company six months ago.

Apollo Crews, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, gave up his Nigerian Royalty guise for a second stint in NXT in June of this year. Since joining the brand, he has fought with Roderick Strong, Xyon Quinn, and Grayson Waller.

After recovering the title from Dolph Ziggler at WWE RAW on April 4 of this year, Bron Breakker is currently serving as the NXT Champion for a second time. He first claimed the championship at the January New Year’s Evil event before losing it to Ziggler in a triple threat match at NXT Roadblock. Breakker also defeated Tyler Bate at the Worlds Collide 2022 event, unifying the NXT Championship with the NXT UK Championship.

On December 10, 2022, the NXT Deadline 2022 event will take place. at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Apart from the NXT title match, the Men and Women Iron Survivor Challenge Series matches are also announced for the shows.
