Rain Likely to Play Spoilsport in Pakistan-India T20 World Cup Match

All of the tickets for the high-stakes match between Pakistan and India, which will take place on October 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, have already been sold out for months.

At the recently finished Asia Cup 2022 in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and India faced off against one other twice, with each team winning by the same score of five wickets in the group and super 4s phases, respectively.

As October 23 draws near, crowd excitement is hard to control, but the Melbourne Cricket Ground encounter between the bitter rivals could be ruined by heavy rain, according to the weather forecast.

In Melbourne City, there is a 75% chance of rain, and it will probably get colder in the evening, according to the weather report.

The game is set to start at 7 pm local time (1 pm PST), when AccuWeather predicts there will be a 55% probability of rain.

The Babar Azam-led team is now playing in New Zealand as part of the tri-nation series, and on October 14 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, they will square off against the local team in the championship game.

The national team will go to Australia to take part in the major tournament, where they will face Afghanistan and England in two warm-up games, respectively.
