Mohammad Rizwan Wins Another Big ICC Award

The International Cricket Council has named Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s outstanding wicket-keeper batsman, as player of the month for September 2022. (ICC). Throughout the month, Rizwan kept up his incredible T20I cricket form and remained the best player in the competition.

In the 10 T20I matches Rizwan played in the previous month, he scored 7 half-centuries, demonstrating his incredible consistency and skill throughout. In the 2022 Asia Cup, he started the month off strong by recording half-centuries against India and Hong Kong. Rizwan finished as the competition’s top run-scorer with 281 runs, including three half-centuries, at an average of 56.20 in six innings despite losing the championship game.

Despite missing one game due to injury, he was also the top run-scorer in the recently finished T20I series between Pakistan and England. In the six innings he pitched in the series, he scored 316 runs with a strike rate of 138.60 and an average of 63.20.
