On Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut posted pictures of herself wearing a white net blouse with tiny straps and a pair of matching white pants. The actor posted the vintage images to emphasise the idea that what women wear is none of other people’s business. Emergency, Kangana’s next period drama based on the late Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister, is keeping her busy.
Kangana uploaded several images from last year on Instagram Stories. I just want to emphasise that what a woman wears or forgets to wear is totally her business, Kangana wrote in a post sharing photos of herself in an all-white ensemble as she stood with the sun in the background. It’s not my business. The performer included a smiling emoji. She also added, “I guess I made the point, I can go to the office now… bye,” next to another picture of herself. She embellished the image with a flying kiss emoji as well.
In a different image she posted, Kangana wished Razneesh Ghai a happy birthday by saying, “Happy birthday chief Razneesh Ghai,” next to a picture of the two taken at the Dhaakad party last year. On May 20 of this year, he had directed Kangana in the action movie. The star accessorised her white clothing in the photographs with bold gold jewellery, understated eye makeup, and a bun on her hair. A portion of the public criticised Kangana and labelled her dress “bold” when she first uploaded the images last year.
Kangana will be in Emergency shortly. In addition to Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade, Kangana will also serve as the film’s director. In the movie, Kangana portrays the late Indira Gandhi.
