Twitter edit button will Soon Roll Out for Paying Subscribers

People have long called for a way to modify tweets, but Twitter has been silent. With the ability to alter posts and statuses, even other social networking platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok help users. Since Twitter’s debut, this feature has not been accessible, possibly as a result of the company’s alternative strategy, but now the Twitter edit button is now in testing.

It’s a significant move for Twitter, and after testing is complete, the edit button should be available by the end of this month. Currently, Twitter Blue customers who pay $4.99 per month for service to access premium features get immediate access to this functionality.

The edit button will be introduced gradually. When Twitter is able to determine how often users are using this new button, the test will eventually be localised to more countries. The firm stated the following while disclosing this:

“We pledge to closely monitor how the feature affects people’s reading, writing, and engagement with”

The time the specific tweet was edited will be displayed in the edited tweet. It will appear as shown.

You will still be able to tell if a tweet has been altered even if you are not one of the fortunate persons chosen for testing or you do not have a Twitter Blue subscription.
