Halo Infinite Season 3 is Delayed until 2023
For those eagerly awaiting Halo Infinite season 3, this is unfavourable news. According to the game’s creator, the planned season 3 update has been postponed until 2023. Additionally, the Halo series’ signature split-screen co-op is completely scrapped. Halo Infinite is still experiencing long-term issues despite its incomplete release, which should not come as a surprise to anyone who has been playing the game.
Halo Infinite Season 3 is Delayed until 2023 and the split-screen co-op is cancelled
Season 3 was previously scheduled to launch on Infinite in November of this year. Campaign split-screen co-op, Forge mode, and the standard matchmaking changes were all planned to be included to the game in this update. The new season will debut on March 7, 2023 as a result of the postponement. This indicates that Season 2 of Halo Infinite will run roughly ten months.
The fact that Forge mode’s release is still on schedule is also fantastic news. The massive sandbox maker is now a part of what is being referred to as the free Winter Update. Forge mode will be a part of the future update, which will debut on November 8, 2022. In addition to Forge, this update includes two new maps, a new 30-level combat pass, mission playback tools, and match XP via a beta.
Without a doubt, one of the hardest game modes is Forge. Season 3 of Halo Infinite will begin on March 7, 2023, while the Winter Update will be released for free on November 8.
