Globally, Dual Camera is now available for Snapchat users running iOS on at least an iPhone XS or XR. Android users, on the other hand, will have to wait a while. Users can concurrently record content using the front and back cameras in this mode.

Uses for it

You’ll see a new symbol in the camera toolbar when you open Snapchat.

You may start producing Snaps and Stories, as well as polished Spotlight films, with just one easy swipe.

Users can choose between four configurations after selecting Dual Camera: vertical, horizontal, picture-in-picture, and cutout.

Front and back camera photos can be stacked vertically, horizontally, or picture-in-picture, which inserts the front camera view into a little symbol in the lower right corner of the back camera shot.

Cutout uses the rear camera picture as a green screen to insert the topic of the front camera there.

The company advised users to “share what you make with Dual Camera on Spotlight or, if inspiration strikes quickly, publish a Snap or Story.”
